MINDFULNESS COURSES:
CULTIVATING STILLNESS
A MINDFULNESS APPROACH TO THE ALLEVIATION OF ANXIETY
To Be Announced
Mindfulness has been steadily growing as a highly successful and easily applied tool for working with a variety of psychological issues and for gaining peace and well-being in everyday life. Through connecting with the reality of the present moment, one comes to recognize unproductive, repetitive thought patterns, as contrasted with the option of presence, allowing and choosing.
Empirical support for the effectiveness of Mindfulness in the treatment of anxiety, along with burn-out and panic; of depression, along with relapse prevention; as well as easing of chronic pain, along with co-emergent mood disturbance, has been seen.
This course is a "Working Group", where we will bring all the aspects of Mindfulness together to experience its wonderful power to relieve anxiety.
Together we will explore how Mindfulness brings both healing awareness as well as a soothing balm, which has shown itself over decades of evidence-based research, to be as effective in relieving both anxiety and panic, as tranquilizing medication.
The group will be kept small, with a maximum of 12 participants.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or require further information.
Cost: $450. (included in most health benefits programs)
