Just a little note to say hello and to remind you that there will be a Mindfulness Evening held this Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mindfulness Evening is a space in which we can learn, share and experience Mindfulness more deeply.
There are so many wonderful texts, articles and videos on line that provide a wealth of information regarding Mindfulness.
It is so inspiring and uplifting to discover the path of presence, openness, allowing and peace.
The next step is to make it our own - to truly embody it, and live from that experience, as we move through our day - with family, in the workplace, in all our daily tasks & activities - with everyone we meet!
It is truly inner work, to cultivate that state of consciousness within us, that gradually becomes the state of mind we bring to every aspect - to each moment - of our lives.
It has been wonderful to be together as we were in the past - and will be again in the future - but meanwhile, we can still create the space to meet - to either become familiar with Mindfulness, or to develop the understanding we have attained. Everyone is welcome!
In the words of Thich Nhat Hahn, “to plant, then to water and continue to nourish the seeds of Mindfulness within us,” we care for and cultivate this consciousness, as we would a developing child.
We will meet to do just that, this Friday evening, September 25th from 7 to 9 p.m.
Registration is now open and will close on Thursday at 4 p.m.
It will be completed upon receipt of an e-transfer of $35.
The Security Question could be: “What are we studying?”
The answer would be: “Mindfulness”.
Your link to the Evening will be sent to you on Thursday night.
You can click onto this at the time of the meeting, Friday at 7 p.m., when the doors will open and we will be together again!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Below is a charming picture of a Baby Buddha!
He has a clear message! Enjoy!
Have a Lovely Week!
